Peek Freans Sooper did something amazing this Independence Day to bring Pakistan in the lime light and when I say lime light, I mean something as big as becoming a part of a world record. #SooperHaiPakistan is what the campaign tried to bring into focus and it did just that.
So, the world record revolved around creating the largest cookie mosaic, that too using special edition white and green biscuits courtesy of EBM using 150,000 of such pieces, altogether measuring up to 2,438 ft of awesomeness. A star studded event with people as amazing as Younus Khan coming up in Islamabad to support this world record made it all the more special.
Another important thing about this world record attempt was to ensure that the level of hygiene associated with this world record cookie mosaic by Sooper was up to mark as these were to be distributed to NGOs across the country. So for all the people wondering with what happened with the cookies afterwards, here is your answer!
On an official note, Dr. Zeelaf Munir, EBM Managing Director and CEO said, “We are a nation that is continuously rebuilding, reshaping and pushing forward – no matter what the odds. Our campaign, ‘Sooper Hai Pakistan’ seeks to highlight this national positivity by disseminating content that is the exact opposite of what the popular media continues to cover.”
Brands in Pakistan have the power to bring out the good in this country and bring it into light for all the right reasons and Sooper did just that. I hope that more brands in this country take such measures to give us a good name.
